The Simple Lady Upstairs Have you ever been guilty of people watching? Imagining what other peoples lives were like compared to yours. I had a habit of that. Guilty as charged. The lady upstairs was particularly interesting to watch. The best and only way I could describe her was simple, or predictable. Her long blonde hair was always straightened to perfection, half of it pulled back from her face with little black clips. She never wore make up but to be honest she was one of those people that didn’t need to. Natural beauty and all that. Her face was a kind of heart shape with two piercing baby blue eyes in the middle of her freckles pale skin. She looked like she was in her late twenties, though she was definitely older. If you are thinking of giving it a go I have some handy tips as well as some examples of foods you can and can't eat The keto diet is basically trying to get your body into a state of ketosis. This is where the body starts to break down fats and use them as energy to replace the carbs that you aren't putting into your body.  This is a simple dietary breakdown, as you can see you can still have carbs but keep it low. I do 25g of carbs a day which is slightly higher than the strict keto diet but I still loose the weight but gradually instead of all at once.  These are some of the food you can have. How keto changed my life I have struggled with my weight all my life. Always being that chubby girl who hid herself in baggy clothes and didn't really go out a lot. I had done so many diets from slimfast to the military diet, yet they never really seemed to work.  When I first got with my boyfriend I had been a steady weight but you know how it goes. You get into a relationship and you get comfortable. We ate out a lot and snacked too. It didn't help that we both worked at McDonalds so not only were we around food all the time but also our shift patterns meant we would eat at strange times. We finally bought a house together April 2019. We were so happy but we both struggled with our weight.
