Top tips for keto Keto can be a hard diet to begin with but it does get easier. If you are thinking of giving it a go I have some handy tips as well as some examples of foods you can and can't eat The keto diet is basically trying to get your body into a state of ketosis. This is where the body starts to break down fats and use them as energy to replace the carbs that you aren't putting into your body.  This is a simple dietary breakdown, as you can see you can still have carbs but keep it low. I do 25g of carbs a day which is slightly higher than the strict keto diet but I still loose the weight but gradually instead of all at once.  These are some of the food you can have. How keto changed my life I have struggled with my weight all my life. Always being that chubby girl who hid herself in baggy clothes and didn't really go out a lot. I had done so many diets from slimfast to the military diet, yet they never really seemed to work.  When I first got with my boyfriend I had been a steady weight but you know how it goes. You get into a relationship and you get comfortable. We ate out a lot and snacked too.
