Essay writing When it comes to essay writing it can difficult to create a clear structure. While doing my OU course there is a lot of focus on how to plan out you essays so that they come across in a clear and constructive way. Below is the plan that I use and have been taught, and so far it is working.  Layout: Title You want to use the question as your title or make yourself an interesting one Introduction   You should write about 150-200 words for your introduction. In this you want to include what you are going to talk about in your essay and maybe even define some keywords as well. Paragraphs A good paragraph uses the PEER method. Firstly you make your Point, then you need to Evaluate your point clearly. Then you need to back up this with Evidence before you refer it back to the question you are trying to answer. Conclusion   You want to conclude what you have discussed in your essay but don't add other points or make assumptions. It needs ...

How to make bread  Ingredients: 500g of strong bread flour 300ml of warm water 1 packet of dried yeast Teaspoon of salt Teaspoon of caster sugar Splash of oil Method: 1. Weigh out the flour and pour into a large bowl 2. Add the sugar and salt 3. Add the yeast but don't let it touch the salt 4. Gradually add the water whilst stirring. If the mix doesn't come together add a little more water 5. Put some flour onto the kitchen side and take the dough out of the bowl 6. knead the dough for 10 minutes 7. Lightly oil a bowl and place the dough into it. Cover with clingfilm 8. Let the dough proof for an hour and  half. Take out the bowl and shape the dough before placing it into a tin 9. Let the dough proof for another hour then bake for half an hour on 230 (Gas) Tap on the bottom of the loaf to see if it is ready. Let it cool before you cut.

Drip, drip, drip. I stared at the ceiling wide awake. I knew I shouldn’t have watched that movie with Jasmine. She is such a bad influence but she was my best friend. She was into horror and Gore whereas I was more love and comedy. Drip, drip, drip. That tap was starting to freak me out. What was worse is I was alone.  My boyfriend, Jason, was still at work and probably wouldn't be back till late. He worked at one of the local shops as a guard until he could find something better. How to prepare for your new furbaby   When getting a cat or a kitten you need to make sure you are fully prepared. Introducing a pet into your home and family is a big thing. This creature is going to rely on you for basic things but will also give you so much in return. I have four cats, a two year old tabby called Bella, two one year old brothers Logan, grey and white,  and Miles, black and white. And my newest addition is almost 6 months old Evie, she is a black and white kitty too. All of them have different personalities but all needed the same basic things when we got them. Below I have a checklist to help you when you are planning on getting a furry addition.  Beds When buying a bed just go for simple, the dome beds work for some cats but not all. My two boys used to sleep on top of it whereas my new kitten loved to sleep inside it.
